Papua New Guinea is a country located in the Pacific Ocean. It is made up of the eastern half of the island of New Guinea and other islands and archipelagos. Its only land border is with Indonesia, to the west.

The local currency is the Papuan Kina, and the main economic resources are agriculture, tourism and mining.
